Courtney Thrasher
Courtney is a certified yoga guide and teacher who primarily specializes in connection between mind, body and soul. Her passion of yoga started when she was 8 and has continued her practice and love of spirituality to the present. Courtney has a deep knowledge of mindfulness and Law of Attraction that is passionate about sharing. Her favorite styles of classes are Yin, Restorative and Flow. She brings a warm smile to every class and a gentle energy for all levels. Yoga is a beneficial practice to anyone of all walks of life through strengthening, relaxation and full body connection. -
Don Wensrich
I am passionate about blending all I do to focus on integrating the energy patterns of the mind, body and emotions. I am a Registered Acupuncturist, having apprenticed for 2 years under a Japanese acupuncturist named Yas Inaba. I have completed a Medical Acupuncturist program at the Alberta College of Acupuncture. I coach people to experience what they are actually experiencing in thought, emotion and sensation; and to be ok with what is. When ok with what is, the innate intelligence to use its resources for healing.When experiencing struggle you are out of Flow. Your thoughts (should and have to’s) your emotions (frustration, despair, fear, anxiety) your physical body (constant tension) are all signs that you are out of Flow. When you try to control, block, or limit yourself, you struggle. When you let go of control and allow what is, you experience Flow. In Flow you can heal rather than cope. The adventure is being ok with what is in my own life. Eliminating struggle in my life, my family and my community. I seek out meditation classes, energy classes, time with my kids and my wife. I admire people who are genuine. People like Nelson Mandela who stay true to what they believe and don’t fight what’s happening. With a bucket full of faerie dust, I’d free the world from being attached to the outcome of what they think and feel and just be with what is actually happening. -
Jenny Palacio
Jenny is originally from Venezuela, South America and relocated to Canada in 2009. She has been working in the healthcare field for 10 years and has successfully completed more than 8 courses to advance her knowledge and techniques to heal not only the physical ailments of the human body but also any spiritual concerns as well. Jenny graduated from Makami College after 3000 hours of training. She is always smiling and exudes positive energy. Jenny can successfully treat any area of concern including migraines, back pain, sports injuries, prenatal and post-natal discomfort, and any other concern requiring massage therapy. She can also treat babies and pets ! In her spare time, Jenny loves enjoying the outdoors with her special companion JJ, a beautiful 2 year old Labrador Retriever, as well as participating in Yoga and Boxing. -
Patricia Milburn-Barile
Patricia is a licensed and Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta and has been in practice for over 26 years . Her practice is focused on but not limited to , deep tissue and corrective therapy including but not limited to , sports and repetitive strain injuries, headaches , neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, arthritis, fibromyalgia, TMJ dysfunction, motor vehicle accident injuries, muscle and joint pain. Some of the techniques Patricia has been certified in and utilizes in her practice include, Trigger Point therapy , Neuromuscular Therapy, Active Release, Facilitated Stretching, Fascial Release , Deep Tissue Therapy, Relaxation and Swedish Massage, Reflexology, and Therapeutic Massage for Seniors. She is also trained in Pre and Postnatal massage and Pediatric Massage. She is also a personal trainer for Adults , Pre and Postnatal women and for the Active Aging population. Patricia has a long standing successful massage practice and looks forward to working with you to meet and exceed your health and wellness goals ! Sergio Gonzalez
I was born in Colombia, and moved to Canada 12 years ago, I’m still trying to get used to the winters. My passion for helping others with my hands through touch started when I was 6, when my mom introduced me to Reiki. From then on, I became very curious about different pain and rehab therapy modalities, massage therapy specifically. Now, with a 3000 hour Massage Therapy Diploma from Makami College, and over 2 years of experience educating other therapists, my passion for helping clients, be and feel better, has deepened. I believe in the restorative potential of the human mind, body and spirit in response to massage and combine; Swedish, therapeutic, and myofascial techniques with stretching and strengthening exercises to restore overall well-being. I have experience working with TMJ dysfunction, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Whiplash, Tension Headaches, Postural Dysfunctions, Sports Injuries and other chronic injuries. I enjoy cooking, hiking, being outdoors and learning how I can be a better human to the world.
